So I've been working on Dark Service for a while now, and I'm excited to finally share it with you! The manuscript is complete and off to the editor, and the pre-order is now live. I've always loved fish-out-of-water stories, snarky protagonists, steamy MM harem romance, and kingdom building, so creating this series has been an absolute joy.
The story follows Beau, a customer service rep who wakes up as Lucien Noir, the Dark Lord of a crumbling demon kingdom. Now he has to figure out how to rule while dealing with his devastatingly handsome butler, Azrael, who might be a tad... obsessive. At least he has Mr. Snuggles, his massive shadow dragon who, despite his terrifying appearance and full title of "Mr. Snuggles the Soul-Devouring," actually does enjoy snuggling (but only with Lucien). And yes, I may have had way too much fun naming characters.
It's a MM/BL fantasy romance with kingdom building, lots of snark, and a slow burn that definitely heats up as the story progresses. If you enjoy isekai stories with a twist, or just want to see how a customer service rep handles being a Dark Lord (spoiler: with lots of modern solutions to fantasy problems), you might enjoy this one.
